First, this week is Draft #3 of your values paper. Be sure to send me a copy of Draft #3 and schedule a conference this week. It's a short week, so don't forget to schedule ASAP.
In class, we briefly reviewed a few chapter from How to Read Literature Like a Professor. Wednesday and Thursday in class we will be discussing Huck Finn with a focus from a chapter in How to Read Literature. You may choose the chapter of your focus: I identified chapters 1, 5, 12, 18, 19, 21, and 26 as particularly relevant, but you may choose any chapter you'd like from How to Read Literature. You may be applying this information to a portion of Huck Finn that you choose or to the book as a whole. I think we'll have an interesting discussion. Don't forget we'll be working at the level of application and analysis.
